Sale Day Auction
The application allows you to recall a Stock Summary, which is a listing of the animals presently in the "system" for the day. It details the type of animal, total of each, total of sold and those remaining. Seller Recap is a listing of the animals that you are selling today. Displayed is Tag number, weight, price, description, and total money. Buyer Recap is a listing of the animals that you have bought today. Totals include weight, avg. price, avg. weight, total dollars, and head count; of course, Sub-totaled by the "suffix" or order number. As long as you are running the application, posted at the bottom of the page are the sold animals. You will see Tag #, Weight, Head count, price, total $, and so on. If you click on the column headings, the data will resort by that column, click the same heading and resort the data in descending order. Click on each and they will toggle from descending to ascending order. Finally, Market Summary, which is a current listing of the animals sold to that point and presented in a market price report. I caution, this report does not take into account of any grade/quality issues, just reports the prices by predefined groups.
How to:
a> go to www.saledayauction.com
b> download the application - its safe so ignore the caution statements.
c> install the application on your computer.
d> Launch the application, which is located on your desktop
e> select Harward Brothers Livestock Market from the list, you do NOT need a User name or Password unless you are bidding (which we have not started as yet)
f> The sale will load and you are free to enjoy as long as you wish.
g> Notice the "Request" button - click it and you will be able to recall your sales & buying transaction, summary of stock in the barn, and a real-time market summary.
